M. Teresa Bresnan has been in Traditional Chinese Medicine clinical practice since 1995, and currently is the owner and clinician at the Acupuncture and Natural Health Center LLC in Medford Oregon. Her treatment focus is to integrate biomedical understanding in the practice of Traditional Chinese Medicine, in acupuncture and in herbology and nutrition. Since 2020, Dr. Bresnan has been developing her own system of acupuncture called Bresnan Integrative Fascial Acupuncture (BIFA). This system integrates the piezoelectric nature of the anatomically identified fascial meridians and traditional Chinese medicine meridians resulting in a system that gives consistent and reproducible results of pain relief and improvement in health imbalances. Acupuncture supports the human constitution to balance and heal itself. BIFA is a system that optimizes this restorative process. Along side this novel acupuncture system, M. Teresa Bresnan is skilled in several other acupuncture systems: TCM Traditional Chinese Medicine style, Master Tung method, Dr. Tan methods, Orthopedic Motor Point needling, and Auricular method. Supporting the acupuncture therapy are additional modalities including Tuina Chinese Massage, Herbal Therapy, Clinical Nutrition and Essential Oil therapy. Education on how to maintain balance in daily life (Yin – Yang balance) as a means for personal harmony and sustainability for the planet is important and is also embraced as an important part of the healing process.

On a personal level, M. Teresa Bresnan feels great reverence for Nature and wildlife and tries to get outdoors frequently, enjoying hiking, forest bathing, surfing or just relaxing at the beach. In Nature the elements are inherently pure and balanced and therefore naturally restore the equilibrium of our body and mind.
